SIGNS: HOW SPIRIT ACTUALLY COMMUNICATES

(AND WHY YOU'RE MISSING IT)

LESSON 2

Lesson 2: Where Signs Come From

In the first lesson, we cleared something important out of the way: not everything is a sign.

Now we need to talk about where signs actually come from, because confusion here creates a lot of bad interpretation and unnecessary dependency.

People often talk about “the universe” sending signs, but that’s vague and not very helpful.

In reality, signs tend to come through a few related sources, each working together rather than competing.

Understanding this makes signs clearer and easier to recognize.

Source / Spirit

Think of Source or Spirit as the larger field of intelligence everything exists within.

It’s not micromanaging your life and it’s not trying to control outcomes.

This is the big-picture current. When signs come from this level, they usually relate to alignment, timing, or direction rather than specific instructions.

These signs often feel neutral, steady, and calm.

There’s no emotional charge. Just recognition.

Your Higher Self

This is one of the most overlooked sources of signs.

Your higher self already knows what’s aligned for you, even when your conscious mind is unsure or emotionally tangled.

Many signs are actually your higher self using the outer world to get your attention.

That’s why the best signs often feel familiar rather than dramatic.

They don’t feel foreign.

They feel like something you already knew being reflected back to you.

Spirit Guides

Spirit guides are helpers, not decision-makers.

They don’t run your life, and they don’t override your free will.

When guides are involved with signs, the message is usually practical:

Pay attention.

Slow down.

Reconsider.

Or move forward with awareness.

Guides tend to reinforce things you’ve already been nudged about internally.

They don’t keep repeating messages endlessly, and they don’t compete with your intuition.

Angels

Angelic energy works a little differently.

Angels tend to show up around protection, support, or stabilization, especially during stressful or emotionally heavy periods.

Signs associated with angels often feel comforting rather than instructive.

They steady you rather than push you.

That’s an important distinction.

Comfort is not the same as guidance.

Support is not the same as permission.

How These Work Together

Most of the time, signs don’t come from just one source.

They come through a combination of inner knowing and outer reflection.

Intuition usually speaks first.

Signs often follow to confirm, redirect, or reinforce.

When people ignore intuition, they tend to demand signs.

When people trust intuition, signs become clearer and less frequent.

That’s not a punishment.

That’s discernment improving.

One Important Boundary

Your spirit team is not here to micromanage your daily choices.

They don’t comment on every decision.

They step in when something matters.

Signs are about course correction, not constant supervision.

If you remember that, signs become easier to understand and much harder to misuse.

In the next lesson, we’ll look at the many ways signs can appear, including real-world examples, and how to tell the difference between meaningful guidance and background noise.
